Brunch at Tricky Fish is darn good (Richardson)

The CityLine development in Richardson is becoming more popular than ever, thanks to some major companies who have moved in, as well as the new restaurants and shops. Among the new places to visit at CityLine is Tricky Fish, a cajun and seafood restaurant from the owners of Razzoo’s.

The restaurant just debuted a weekend brunch menu that is sure to impress guests, as the menu brings the flavors of the Gulf Coast to a wide array of brunch favorites. The prices are reasonable too!

 

brunch drinkThe creative brunch menu is complemented by a collection of craft cocktails. Pictured above is the sweet Bloody Orange Mimosa. Other cocktail favorites include the larger than life Bloody Mary (with Tito’s) and the Irish Iced Coffee (with Jameson)

pancakesIf you’re looking for a traditional and simple breakfast, order the Praline Pancakes. These tasty pancakes come topped with macerated raspberries, candied praline pecan whisky syrup and orange cream.  ($11.50)

 

brunch itemFor a Cajun favorite, you need to try the NOLA Benedict. This dish comes with biscuits topped with Andouille sausage, peppers and onions, plus poached eggs topped with creole mustard hollandaise.  ($11.50)

Another popular Cajun entree to try out is the Andouille Hash & Eggs with poached eggs over Andouille, potato and pepper hash with spinach, topped with roasted green chile hollandaise.  ($11.50)

 

dessertMake room for dessert and your belly will be glad you did. (This Bananas Foster Monkey Bread serves as an entree and dessert.) The warm bread is topped with bananas, dark rum, cinnamon sugar. ($6 and add $1.50 for a side of vanilla ice cream)
