22 Scenes from The Conservatory – An Uptown Eatery Offering the Perfect Power Lunch

The Conservatory Dallas - Hotel Crescent Court - Couryard - Dining
Hotel Crescent Court is not only a hotel, but a special area of uptown for shopping, dining, wedding rehearsal dinners, wellness spas, and beauty. In-between uptown and the Hardwood District, the hotel is a stone’s throw distance from the corporate offices of financial behemoths and luxury watch makers MoneyGram International and Rolex. Being near the financial district they know they aren’t just serving traveling dignitaries – local executives that work in buildings nearby need to eat too. However, contrary to popular belief not all want stuffy and arrogant options for lunch. The Conservatory provides a great experience for those looking for an attractive, approachable environment, a light lunch, and a friendly top-notch staff.

We were recently invited to experience The Conservatory within the Hotel Crescent Court. It started with mimosas in the courtyard, and a takeaway cake at the end. In the middle of our experience we were treated to an amazing power lunch with a number of courses.

I’ve worked in uptown on and off for six years of the last ten, before recently taking a job in north Dallas. I wish I would have spent more time in Hotel Crescent Court while working in closer proximity. However, I live downtown and I look forward to having brunch at The Conservatory on some Saturday soon.

On this recent visit, even though I only had an hour and a half, however, I went out of my way to Uber to uptown so I would not miss out of this invite. The food, company, and experience, all delivered as promised.

I first noticed The Conservatory’s glass sunroom where breakfast and lunch is served overlooking a peaceful garden, which then led to the inner courtyard with beautiful and elaborate fragrant foliage that gave way to a breath of fresh air in the middle of the city. The regular menu at The Conservatory features breakfast standards as well as Tex-Mex favorites and a variety of classic sandwiches, salads and entrees for lunch.

However, they just released a new menu designed specifically for the busy executive that enjoys wining and dining vendors and colleagues for brunch and lunch. I’ll let the photos tell the story. If a picture is worth 1,000 words, here’s 22,000.
