It’s finally the day, Decks in the Park is here and the needle is set to drop on the vinyl at Klyde Warren Park at 6:00 PM sharp! To say that we’ve been eager for this moment is a massive understatement. My dreams have been filled with food trucks, lawn lounging, and the crowd of 6,000 Dallasites dancing like nobody is watching ever since last year’s season ended.

Tonight sure is going to be something special considering all of the effort that has been put into this FREE event. There’s no way I’m going to miss out on all of these amazing local talents that Dallas’ has to offer!

But one thing does have me a little down. I’m already getting bummed out when I think about the DJ’s packing up their gear after the show ends at 10:00 and then I’ll just have to head home and continue my sweet dreams about the next edition of Decks in the Park…

SIKE! The party isn’t going to end tonight! We’re moving on over to the Foundation Room at the House of Blues immediately after the concert ends and we’re going to keep on enjoying the beautiful night. Not only is the location within walking distance from Klyde Warren Park, the after party is also a FREE event as well! The saying couldn’t be truer; the best things in life really are free.

So there is absolutely no reason you should be down in the dumps when everyone starts to pack up at Klyde Warren because the party is simply moving on over to Foundation Room! Grab that babysitter and get the kiddos home because this after party is 21 and up! The fantastic DJ’s from Decks in the Park will be continuing to spin their tunes in the booth at the Foundation Room. This is truly a party you don’t want to miss. I still have flashbacks from the Daft Punk Tribute Set earlier in the month…
