It’s that time of the year again; Decks in the Park is back, bigger, and better than ever! Entering the fourth season, the team took a lot of suggestions into consideration and through their collaborative efforts this event has been transformed into a cultural affair that will eclipse the previous years entirely in terms of scope, sound, and size. With Decks just around the corner on June 23^rd, it’s apparent that this year at Klyde Warren Park will be something truly special. Prepare yourself for a night unlike any other. 

When Decks in the Park was created by the music business veteran Jeff Mitchell, he had an incredible vision for a concert that all Dallasites could enjoy for FREE. It was a bold idea with a lot factors that would come into play, but with help from the always amazing Dallas community it has turned into something far greater than his initial vision. Countless sponsors and private donations have allowed Decks in the Park to continue to be a FREE event for the entire city to enjoy, and with so much support it’s inevitable that Decks is here to stay.

For many, this will be their first year at Decks in the Park. Oh man, are they in for a treat. Smack dab in the middle of the vibrant downtown energy, it’s the largest FREE outdoor concert experience in the city of Dallas. Not only will local and international musical talents be rocking the stage at Klyde Warren, countless food vendors will be out there providing unbelievably delectable dishes to the public. While you’re listening to the tunes, grab a drink and enjoy a gallery of visuals brought to you by the best artists in town. There is so much to experience on the Deck, and you don’t have to pay a cent to get into the venue.

For those that want to take it easy, lay back, and just delight their senses, bring a blanket and just hang out on the Klyde Warren Park lawn! If you’re the type that just wants to dance, there is plenty of room for that too. Decks in the Park is an event for all ages and all types so bring the kids, the dogs, heck even grandma too if she’s into this kind of thing.

If you’re looking for a good time, get yourself over to Klyde Warren Park Thursday June 23^rd. the event starts at 7:00 PM and goes on until 10:30. Don’t worry, the party won’t stop there. Decks is hosting an after party at the Foundation Room directly after the concert that will keep the night going until 2 AM.
