Monterey Meets Dallas at the Dallas Farmers Market
Monterey County Convention & Visitors Bureau is bringing the dynamic flavors and inspiring culture of Monterey to Dallas for a one-time-only delicious collaboration between three renowned chefs. Chef John Cox and Chef Cal Stamenov of Monterey County, California will be joining Chef Kent Rathbun using his spectacular 15’ Brinkmann Smoker/Grill as the stage for a creatively immersive and interactive Monterey Fresh Pop-Up at the Dallas Farmers Market.
The culinary mash-up will fuse fresh, local ingredients from California’s coastal region with the distinct taste and influence of Texas through culinary theater vis-à -vis live cooking demos, delicious bites, and special pours hosted by Lawrence Lohr of J.Lohr Vineyards & Wines. This public event brings together the unmatched culinary styles of three legendary chefs as part of Monterey Moments, a touring pop-up series designed to introduce strategic markets like Dallas, to Monterey’s unique culture and cuisine.

The Dallas Farmers Market offers ample free parking including street parking on Taylor, Marilla and Pearl Streets, and parking lots between The Market and Mudhen and behind the Scottish Rite building at Young and Pearl Streets.
