National Meatball Day is Wednesday, March 9, and Addison restauranteur Kenny Bowers is celebrating in a big way at Kenny’s Italian Kitchen. Bowers will offer his famed Midnight Meatballs for only $1 each from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The restaurant has long held a contest recognizing diners who can eat the most of the famed quarter-pound meatballs when they offer the $1 meatballs on Sundays. Diners who consume the most meatballs in one sitting get their meatballs for free. The current record is 22 meatballs. Think you can beat it??

We stopped by a meatball making event with Chef Kenny Bowers himself to learn how to make the restaurant’s popular entree – and just in time for National Meatball Day. He was so kind and gave us a $25 restaurant gift card for us to giveaway to I Live in Dallas readers!
