Cool River Café has long been known as a top destination for cocktails, but the noted steakhouse is also a destination for Scotch and cigars. On March 5, the restaurant will host Master of Scotch, Mr. David Allardice and Eliot Suied of Cigar Warehouse in a special Scotch and Cigar dinner. The four-course meal can be reserved for $55 per person, and features cigars by Diamond Crown & Ashton and a specialty reception cocktail by Monkey Shoulder. During the meal, Glenfiddich 14, 15 and 18-year-old scotches will be poured.

The dinner menu includes:

First Course

Coffee seared sea scallops with spiced butternut squash puree and crème fraiche

Second Course

Herb-roasted duck breast with sweet potato gnocchi and pomegranate reduction

Third Course

Crusted-smoked lamb with mushroom risotto, portabella demi-glace and balsamic reduction

Fourth Course

Fruit galette and ice cream, apricot and black currant with a Scotch-chocolate truffle ice cream
