This week is a goody! Dallas is amidst the height of event season. So rather than give you a long list of must-attends, I’m focusing on three events this week — in my top three categories of life: food, art, and philanthropy!

Let’s start with food:

Green Door Public House is celebrating one year of good times. Join them this Thursday July 16th (starting at 8pm and lasting until 2am) as Dallas eats, drinks, and stays merry in honor of this very worthy occasion. There will be raffles, prizes, specials, and burlesque oo la la!

Can’t make it? Bring the party to the comfort of your couch using one of my very favorite apps, Caviar. If you haven’t used this curated delivery service yet, you should definitely: Try Caviar!

How about some art?

Bastille on Bishop is happening Tuesday, July 14th from 6 – 10 p.m.! The list of participating vendors is long, so you’ll want to head to their FB page to learn more, but here’s the general run down:

Go Oak Cliff’s annual Bastille on Bishop event is a family-friendly festival featuring French wine, food, music, a market, and a pétanque court in the middle of Bishop Avenue!

Costumes and themed clothing abound, so don’t be shy- stripes and berets are très chic at Bastille on Bishop!

The event is free. The only ticket needed is for adults wishing to drink wine at the festival.You must reserve your wine glass in advance. The cost includes the event glass and 2 tokens, which can be used for wine (each glass of wine is 1 token) or food (most food items are 1 token). A very, very limited number of glasses will be available at the front gate, so don’t miss out, Reserve your wine glass today.

The awesome folks at the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center Alliance invite you to join them this Wednesday July 15th from 5-8pm. Buy a Backpack campaign is taking place during this month and they need your help to stuff all the backpacks with brand new school supplies!
