Craft & Growler is a micro-brew pub located in the Exposition Park neighborhood, nestled between Deep Ellum and the entrance of Fair Park.  They have 42 beers on tap and carry one of the largest selection of growlers in Texas. They’ve also been recognized by D Magazine as the “Best Beer Bar in Dallas”. Craft & Growler is joining in Kikulu’s effort in Uganda and donating $1 from every pint between the hours of 5-8pm.

“We’re happy to have The Kikulu Foundation join us for non-profit Tuesday. Supporting education for all children is important and we’re thrilled to be supporting their efforts,” said Co-Owner of Craft & Growler Kevin Afghani.

This year, The Kikulu Foundation will provide an opportunity for education for over a hundred children living in rural Uganda. TKF also advocates and raises awareness in the local community. They promote gender equality in education in the communities they work in and help improve existing classroom resources.

“If you enjoy good craft beer, good community, and supporting a good cause, we’d love for the public to join us in paying forward the gift of education. Every dollar raised makes a long-term impact in the lives of children we work with,” said Founding Director of The Kikulu Foundation Alisha Robertson.

Come out and join The Kikulu Foundation at Craft & Growler on Tuesday, April 7th. You can find additional details on their Facebook Event Page. There will be raffle give-a-ways, a silent auction, and plenty of free parking directly behind the building.
