Get ready for Halloween early this year with the creative chops of the RAW Dallas AXIS event. RAW Dallas is one of 85 cities for RAW: natural born artists, an international community made up of creative people around the world. Talent ranges from fashion to music to art and is showcased through events all over the globe.

AXIS, the upcoming showcase on October 30th, will of course feature Halloween-inspired entertainment sure to be ghoulishly grand. Starting at 7, the well-known Lizard Lounge in Dallas will be transformed into a creative wonderland stocked full of stunning visual art, photography, fashion, music, film and more.

A live-stage portion starting at 8 will feature musical performances from varying genres, including rock, pop, hip-hop, blues and more. There will also be a variety of dance performances by the illustr8tive dance movement and yoga master Erina.

If you’re into amazing make-up skills, be sure to check out the extreme make-up and hair creations along with some incredible body painting. If you’re a Beyonce lover, you’re in luck. A Beyonce themed hair show will be featured as well. You’re probably not ready for this jelly.

Everyone is encouraged to dress in costume (Beyonce sounds like a good start) and cotton candy, popcorn and other Halloween-themed treats will be served. Don’t worry, you can get your drink on at the cash bar as well. And don’t slack on the costume: there will be a costume contest with awesome prizes. Categories include Best Female and Male, Best Impersonation and Most Creepy.
