Fiesta Latinamericana!
Allow me to let you in on why going to a cultural festival is worth the trip. For starters its a festival about a nationality that you think you know something about, but don’t. The best education you’ll ever have is seeing the world from a different perspective. But talking to people with roots from other countries doesn’t hurt either. Another benefit of coming to a festival is the amount of things to do over there. We are talking about art exhibits, music and dancing, and there will be family friendly activities so please invite the kids. Come to the vendor shops where you can buy stuff to take home and it wouldn’t be a festival, if you couldn’t buy good eats from a food truck. Now the most important thing to know about a cultural festival is… its free. So no tickets to buy online or any bracelets that you have to wear, so come as you are.
This year’s 8th Annual Fiesta Lantinamericana! is being held at of all places, Klyde Warran Park in the Dallas Arts District. This popular location in Dallas has been around for a few years and its held many specials events in Dallas that people frequent and can’t get enough of. Something tells me that with this year’s parade of nations, a location to indulge in sports, and workshops for the kids, Fiesta Lantinamericana! can be added along a long list of reasons to come to Uptown Dallas this fall.
