If there’s one thing Dallas doesn’t mess up, it’s food. If there’s another, it’s entertainment. So you know that any time these two come together it’s sure to be a total knockout. Allow us to introduce you to the 28th annual Taste of Dallas. The three-day Fair Park event is a chance for our city’s food and dining community to display just what makes us so great.

Over 4 million attendees will get to eat with and learn from our city’s top chefs and most promising rising stars, all for an extremely reasonable price. Spend your weekend indulging in over 150,000 square feet of full-on foodie heaven, all from $1-3 per tasting.

If you came searching for elusive ingredients, spices and/or cooking utensils, you’ll find it in the Culinary Marketplace, a hall for those who want to take their own kitchen game up a notch. Browse the booths to find out what we can expect from the future of food.

You may have been skeptical about attending in years past due to our hellish Julys Texas summers, but someone at Taste of Dallas was thinking when they decided to include 20 additional restaurants indoors.. Now you have no excuse. Along with all the fancy meals and food truck grub your family can possibly stomach in an afternoon or three, the event will showcase local vendors in the health and wellness industries, a sweets shop that rivals Willy Wonka’s, and a music stage with performances by the likes of Spazmatics and Vanilla Ice (but you didn’t hear it from us).

For the kiddos you’ll find the fully interactive Kid’s Taste Town. The family-friendly area plays host to a 30,000 square foot “fun zone” featuring rides, inflatable games, interactive games and a toddler area. And yes, it is also air-conditioned.

Don’t worry parents, they didn’t forget about you. Taste of the Town offers an indoor, VIP wine, beer and liquor tasting experience from the top restaurants in the area. Nothing says summer like a fresh cocktail or some local beer.
