Asian Festival Dallas 2014 Happens this Saturday at Main Street Garden
You know what I love about Asian culture? Everything. I love the food. I enjoy the many types of entertainment. I appreciate the history. And I especially respect the opportunities it brings to expand my tiny little mind so that I recognize the fact that there is a whole other world out there. With that in mind, I would like to ask you a simple question; what do you love about Asian culture? Sorry if that feels that I’m putting you on the spot, or that it makes you feel a little uncomfortable, but you are not the only one who is not in the same boat at this moment and at this time. Maybe that needs to change.
This Saturday will be the 24th Annual Asian Festival in downtown Dallas at Main Street Garden. Admission is free and the festival is open to the public. What should you expect when you arrive? I’ll tell you. We’re talking about food trucks with plenty of Asian Cuisine to go around. Arts and Crafts will be included too, which makes it fun for the kids and the whole family. The event is all outdoors, which is great reason not to be cooped up in the house all weekend. They’ll be plenty of dances, acrobatics, martial arts, and other shows held on stage. If you also have an eye for art, the festival will also sell some of most creative and original works ever made.
Now that I have your attention, come on down to Main Street Garden this Saturday and experience this year’s Asian Festival. It’s free, family-friendly, and it’s time well spent.
