23rd Annual Asian Festival to be Held In Main Street Garden in Downtown Dallas this Saturday
The largest gathering of Asian Pacific Americans in the Dallas area, Asian Festival will take place tomorrow (Saturday), May 18th, 2013, at Main Street Garden starting at 11:00 am and ending at 6:00 pm. Each year, the Asian Festival attracts thousands of people from all over North Texas and showcases more than 30 Asian cultural performances; ranging from dance, martial arts, acrobats, dragon dances, hula dancers and many more. This is Asian Festival’ s 23rd year in Dallas and it will feature authentic Asian cuisine, cultural performances, unique products and artwork , children’s activities, healthy living, and games fun for the whole family. The admission is free.
Things to Do at Asian Festival 2013
You can start your festival experience with the Faces of Asia Cultural Procession. You might then choose to check out the cooking demonstrations at the healthy living corner and get your free health screening. The kids might be entertained most by Passport to Asia for Kids. There will be a number of cuisine options including assorted food trucks, and vendors offering authentic cuisines of Asia.
