Dallas Handmade Arts Market to Open Thursday for Design District Market

"Wood Grain Tea Set", an embossed earthenware ceramic tea pot and mug set handmade by Dallas artist, Lynn Armstrong of Both Hands Studio.

In late August, we wrote about the Dallas Handmade Arts Market’s Grand Opening in the Dallas Design District Labor Day weekend. After a month of going strong every Saturday and Sunday of September, the Dallas Handmade Arts Market venue and host to dozens of vendors with handmade items will be making a special appearance this Thursday during the inaugural Design District Market. That’s right, it’s a bonus day! In addition, they will also be open during their regular schedule this Saturday and Sunday.

As a reminder, Dallas Handmade Arts Market is DFW’s first and only indoor market for local artists, crafters, and designers to sell their handmade items to the general public every weekend on a permanent regular basis. This Thursday they will have live music from “The Violin Guy” (YouTube link), and complimentary wine. We caught up with one of the Founders last time we were at the market and had the opportunity to ask him a few questions. Have a listen. It’s under five minutes.
