Jump Start Your Social Life, a New Book Co-Authored by a Dallas-Based Lifestyle and Dating Coach

I wish I would have had a guide like this seven years ago when I moved to Dallas. The subject material of this book hits home with me and I feel this could be of huge value to newcomers to Dallas and those who have yet to spread their wings while living here or any other city.  Being single or new in a big city can be rough.  However, with an open mind and a positive attitude, the possibilities are endless.  Jason Treu and Brent Smith tell you about some of those possibilities and teach you strategies in-which to achieve them in their new book Jump Start Your Social Life.

I have ran into Jason Treu, co-author, a few times at Dallas events and can tell you he is the real deal. The first thing I told him after recognizing him in person was, “You’re the most connected guy on Facebook in Dallas.” Previous to that I had noticed his Foursquare dominance in being Mayor for popular places like Katy Trail. While I have not read his book yet and I’m not looking for dating advice since I have a girlfriend, I still plan on reading it, since I am sure online social networking is just one of the many tips and strategies for “getting out there.” This type of  information can help with networking no matter what your life situation or relationship status.   If you have no clue what I’m talking about or how being Mayor on Foursquare helps your social life, I’m sure he explains in the book along with mindset and other things to consider.  I applaud him and his co-author’s efforts and their advocacy in donating 10% of the profits to Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dallas.  Get the details of the book below.

Jump Start Your Social Life, a book for men on how to build a social life in 30 days or less, is now available at Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com. The first of its kind, the 85-page guide eschews typical dating-advice books by encouraging priorities that build self-growth first and foremost. Ten percent of the books proceeds will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dallas.

“Current books out there for men focus on tricks, techniques and other gimmicks to meet women,” said Brent Smith, lifestyle guru of BrentSmithLifeStyle.com. “Our book focuses on inner workings and starting with creating a great life, which then naturally attracts other people.”

By implementing the simple strategies in this program, men are empowered to meet countless numbers of people without investing a lot of time and money. It begins by discussing the inner work necessary to create confidence, energy and a magnetic personality. Next, it suggests places to meet people (and how to go by yourself), how to start conversations, ways to build relationships quickly and how to get invited your city’s best events.

Co-authors Brent Smith and Jason Treu operate under the belief that even introverts and very shy individuals can create a fantastic life with limitless friends, dating prospects, business colleagues and other valuable connections.

Brent and Jason have coached and helped guys for years build well-rounded, satisfying lives. “We wanted to create a detailed resource to share what we’ve learned firsthand and what we’ve seen work for our clients,” says Jason.

Here are some early reviews of the book on Amazon.com

  • “I have no doubt anyone who reads this, doesn’t hesitate to implement what they read and doesn’t doubt the truthfulness and power of the book will see ridiculous improvement in any and all things related to being social and interacting with other humans. By far the best book I’ve read on the subject.”
  • “Jumpstart your social life is first and best book written about how to transform your lifestyle. I highly recommend this for anyone seriously interested in transforming their lifestyle. The book is easy to read and full of golden nuggets of wisdom from Brent Smith and Jason Treu who are living the lifestyle most dream of, and in this little book they offer an easy to implement action plan how you can do it too.”
  • “This book fills in the gaps of other books on how to be a social connector. It lays out an easy-to-follow system that covers the smallest details like how to do affirmations powerfully, how to dress for success, the best places to go, exact words and phrases to use when meeting people, how to send out party invites, and how to be the gracious host. After each chapter, there are a summary of the tips and techniques explained so you can use it as a reference moving forward as well.”
